Yes. Macs are supported and managed the same way, and there is a dedicated macOS management programme if you run a fleet of them rather than a handful.

What happens when a laptop physically breaks?

We diagnose it, handle the warranty claim with the vendor, and get the person working again in the meantime. Replacement hardware itself is quoted separately — support covers the work, not the parts.

Can you cover only some of our machines?

Yes. You count what you want covered and that is what you pay for. Most businesses start with the machines that would stop work if they failed and add the rest later.

What computer support covers

Computer support is the part of IT everyone notices, because it is the part that stops people working. A machine that will not boot on a Sunday morning, a laptop three months behind on updates, a new starter with no device ready — these are small problems that cost a working day each, and they are what a support plan is judged on. Every desktop, laptop and point-of-sale terminal on your plan is monitored continuously, patched on a schedule rather than when somebody remembers, and covered by a help desk your staff can reach directly without going through you.

Pricing is per device and falls as the fleet grows, because looking after a hundred laptops is not a hundred times the work of looking after one. There is no minimum estate and no bundling: if the machines are the only thing you want covered, that is a complete plan. Printers and tablets sit on the same card at their own rate, so the shared printer nobody owns finally has somebody responsible for it.

In Riyadh: Riyadh fleets tend to be larger, more standardised and more scrutinised. A head office of a few hundred machines usually comes with a build standard to maintain, a patch report somebody actually reads, and questions about what is installed where when an auditor asks. That shifts computer support from break-fix toward fleet management, which is what the higher levels are for.
