Server support in Jeddah

Physical servers and virtual machines patched, monitored and capacity-checked — including the ones everybody forgot are still running.

Server support — from

SAR 378/month, billed annually

Covers 1 physical server and 1 virtual machine — a 20-person office in Jeddah. The per-device rate falls as the estate grows.

Essentials, our entry level. Pro and Ultra add faster response commitments, deeper administration and more hands-on work, and cost more.

What server support covers

Server support is unglamorous and it is where the serious outages live. A file server out of disk, a hypervisor host running six months behind on patches, a virtual machine somebody spun up for a project in 2022 and never turned off — none of these announce themselves until they take something down. Every physical server and virtual machine on your plan is monitored for health, capacity and availability, patched on a maintenance schedule agreed with you rather than whenever is convenient for us, and reviewed for the drift that accumulates in any estate nobody is watching.

The work covers physical hosts, virtualization platforms and cloud VMs on the same footing, because most estates are now a mix and pretending otherwise creates gaps. Where servers hold data that matters, backup is a separate area with its own rate — deliberately, because a server being monitored and a server being recoverable are different promises and should not be sold as one.

In Jeddah: A lot of Jeddah estates keep one or two servers doing something specific — a POS back end, a file share, an application the business runs on — rather than a real server room. The risk there is concentration: a single machine nobody monitors carrying something the business cannot trade without, which is exactly the case where monitoring and tested backup earn their cost.
