Why branches are priced differently
A branch is not a small office. It has a till rather than a desk, cameras that matter for reasons beyond IT, a network that stops trade the moment it drops, and nobody on site whose job is technology. It is also one of many: the question a chain actually asks is never "what do three hundred devices cost", it is "what does the next shop cost". So branch support is priced per branch — one figure covering the tills, the cameras, the network hardware, the printer and the scanners at that site — and multiplied by how many sites you run.
That shape changes what the plan is for. Monitoring runs across every site continuously, so a dead camera or an offline till opens a ticket before a branch manager notices and phones somebody. Response times are committed per level and stated on the plan rather than negotiated after an incident. And because the figure per branch is fixed and published, opening a fifteenth location is arithmetic you can do yourself in the budget meeting, instead of a quote you wait a fortnight for.
In Makkah: Makkah is where the branch model earns the most, because the sites are numerous, small, and busiest exactly when nobody has time to troubleshoot. Catering outlets, retail units and hotel front desks all run the same shape of estate — tills, cameras, a firewall, wireless — and all of them need it watched rather than fixed after a queue has formed. A fixed figure per site also means seasonal expansion does not require a new conversation.
